About Al Wells

In 2007, Al Wells, a home builder, and Realtor/Developer had a vision of taking a vine encrusted boarded up building behind a closed gas station into the centerpiece of Solon's Down Town redevelopment.  The Palmer House Stable kicked off Main Street Solon's new energy and developed into what it is, today, creating a historic space for people to celebrate life's events . PHS was originally built in 1838 as a Grain Mill until the neighbors complained of noise. At different points in history, it was part of a grocery distribution channel and a warehouse for plumbing supplies. Al was dedicated to restoring this gem to its original state and contributing a local landmark to the City of Solon. With it's exposed heat ducts and original stone walls, heavy timber framing, and plank ceilings that have been revived for all of life's events, he accomplished his goal.

Al resides in Solon with his Yorkie, Louis, as he likes to be very involved with his community and the clients he has an opportunity to serve. He and his daughters, Morgan and Anna, run their business as a family. Morgan, of  MRK Designs is a talented graphic designer who also owns a custom-design furniture business. Anna is more involved in Event management and oversees the details along with Morgan. With this pedigree that produces quality, you can expect nothing but the best from this family! Your event is in good hands!

Your family story becomes our story, and a little bit of ours becomes yours too.
